Choose what you actually want to follow

Progress can mean a routine that is easier to organise, a more comfortable care session or an observation you can revisit over several weeks. Pick a personal goal. Your journal does not need to become a length competition or a promise of visible transformation.

A useful note after each appointment

  1. Record the date and ritual completed. A short description is enough to revisit the moment.
  2. Add product names and useful context: a new style, a change in rhythm or a shorter session.
  3. Record your comfort, perceived softness and impression of definition. You can leave a feeling unrated.
  4. Finish with one sentence: what you want to keep or try next time. A photo is optional.

Fictional example: two observations, one decision

After a first session, Noa writes: “I ran out of time to finish calmly.” At the next appointment, Noa reserves a longer slot and notes: “The ritual was easier to follow.” The decision is to keep that slot. These notes describe organisation; they do not prove a biological improvement in hair.

Photos and measurements: compare carefully

If you use photos, keep framing, lighting and hair presentation as comparable as possible. For measurements, record the area and method. A difference in styling or photography can change what you see. Photos illustrate your personal journey; on their own, they are not proof of growth.

Review your journal to make one decision

After a few appointments, look for a practical question: was there enough time, was a step uncomfortable, did you follow the instructions? Choose one adjustment for the next session. Do not turn photos or personal scores into a diagnosis, or delay seeking care to complete your journal.
